When Logan Benjamin, owner of Brass Ring Web Solutions, reached out to us for some unique, on-location headshots, we knew it was going to be something special. Logan handles all things web for Legacy of Love Studios, keeping our website fresh and updated as we expand our blog and resources. He's been in the web design game for over five years, helping local businesses build their online presence.
But this headshot session wasn’t your typical studio shoot! Logan’s chosen location, the historic Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum in North Tonawanda, turned out to be the perfect backdrop.

Capturing Logan’s Brand at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum
When Logan shared his vision, he wanted headshots that captured his personality and the nostalgic feel of his brand, Brass Ring Web Solutions. The name of his business reflects an old carousel tradition of reaching for the “brass ring,” which symbolizes luck and achievement. Fittingly, we chose a location rich with history and charm, embodying that same spirit.
On the day of the shoot, we explored the museum’s vintage charm. The Wurlitzer Organs were really impressive, and of course, we couldn’t pass up a carousel ride! Logan’s love for the setting shone through in every shot. The museum’s brass tones, and warm lighting were ideal for Logan’s brand, creating a vibrant yet classic atmosphere.
Adding a Traditional Touch to a Non-Traditional Session
After a few rounds on the carousel and capturing Logan in various rooms throughout the museum, we wrapped up the session outside for a more classic look. The red barn-style exterior provided a timeless backdrop, giving Logan some versatile shots to use both professionally and personally.
A Bit About the Brass Ring Legend
For those unfamiliar, “grabbing the brass ring” was once a common carousel challenge in the early 1900s. Riders who managed to grab it as they went by were said to be lucky, and while this tradition is rare today, the brass rings are still on display as a reminder of that fun, bygone era. Logan’s business name, Brass Ring Web Solutions, captures this same pursuit of excellence and his passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
