Justin and Julia got married in the beautiful setting of Sprague Brook Park. Julia reached out to us earlier this year for one of the year's most sought-after dates, August 10, 2024! Thankfully, our team had room for one more August wedding and we jumped on the chance to cover the ceremony and formal portraits for this couple!
The day was almost cloudless and very warm, with the lush green colors of a Western New York summer on full display. Sprague Brook Park, known for its natural beauty, offered endless opportunities for beautiful photos. The park’s mix of open fields, towering trees, walking trails, and a peaceful creek made it an ideal location for both shaded and sunlit portraits.
Justin and Julia’s ceremony took place in a charming outdoor setting, with the couple exchanging vows under a beautiful arbor that they made themselves. The reception was held inside the Casino building located within the park. The outside space is the perfect backdrop for your ceremony, while the reception space can hold up to 100 people and has a full kitchen! The space between the ceremony site and the building made for a perfect walk down the aisle. Justin and Julia each read vows they had written before exchanging rings.

After the ceremony, the sunny day sent us over to the tree line for some group photos. The groomsmen had a blast lifting the groom for some great laughs and lighthearted shots! The bridesmaids joined in for some of our favorite group shots.
One of the highlights of the day was the couple’s portraits, where we spent time hanging out with the bride and groom capturing their love story. The walk across the open field created an opportunity for some couple portraits that showed some movement and the playful side of the couple. The long glances of love and handholding were great moments to capture. Justin and Julia are expecting their first child in just a few months so we absolutely needed shots of this exciting time!
After the couple’s portraits, the family met up inside of the Casino building for an announcement of the couple and a first dance. Justin and Julia shared a sweet first dance, marking the beginning of their journey as husband and wife. It was an intimate party with close family and friends celebrating this amazing day!
Sprague Brook Park proved to be an exceptional venue for Justin and Julia’s wedding, offering a beautiful, natural setting that perfectly complemented their special day. We were honored to capture the start of their legacy and wish them all the happiness in the world as they embark on this new chapter together.
